It’s all started when I switched on my heater, but it went off erratically after few seconds. I knew sth wrong with it but my dizziness from sleeping won’t let me identify it as the consequence from last night’s snowstorm. Being super curious I yanked my sliding door to one side to see the glass layer outside froze and stucked by the accumulated snow. Phew~ I yanked the glass then to find the snow is now about half way to your calves. My goodness! I tried & tried on my heater until it works. Thank goodness it still working as I hope, as usual.

And I haste to school after done washing up myself. I knew the journey will take longer than usual. Exactly it was. Not just because the thick snow on the ground everywhere, the rough winds like maelstrom blowing on them blocked our visions. I guess it’s within 5 meter, at most. Then the car started lining up like a heavy traffic jam. The winds, distracted me from realizing how chilling the weather was today.

It was a huge mistake to go out when the wind started to blow. But I’ve no choice. And another BIG mistake was, to choose the paths that few people went. The snow was like up to my knees, wetting my jeans. And I know my calves quivering under soaked pants.

When I entered Material Chemistry Building, cold liquids dripping from my face and jacket. I thought I won’t get sodden with snow? But they melt like crazy on my warm skin. And great disappointment awaiting as I found out we’ve no classes today.

So I went this adventurous journey to challenge myself? For nothing. Great! And as if I thought the wind stop blowing and snow stop powdering, the snow powders stung on my face on my way back home too.

Well, that’s today. A day after Christmas. It was a disaster, indeed. A cataclysm, to be better described.
